Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the RN Manager plays a key leadership role in managing clinical operations, developing staff, and supporting patient-centered care within our state-of-the-art inpatient surgery department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support Clinical Coordinators in daily operations, staffing, and departmental growth

• Lead and supervise perioperative staff in delivering safe, high-quality care

• Collaborate with the Surgical Services Director on strategic planning and budgeting

• Assist with patient admissions and discharges to ensure a seamless experience

• Ensure compliance with nursing and regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, AORN)

• Participate in patient rounding to monitor satisfaction and outcomes

• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate clinical staff

• Support professional development through mentorship and competency assessment

• Handle employee counseling, performance management, and disciplinary actions

• Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and patient safety

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New Hampshire (or eligible for NH licensure)

• 13 years of Operating Room RN experience

• Proven leadership experience in a hospital surgical setting

• Strong clinical knowledge of perioperative services and best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)

• Previous experience as a Charge Nurse or Clinical Coordinator in OR

• Familiarity with electronic health records and surgical scheduling systems
