Clinical Nurse Leader - Emergency Department (ED/ER)

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Nurse Leader in our Emergency Department, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and leading a dedicated nursing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership skills in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate emergency department operations during assigned shifts
• Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to nursing staff
• Implement and maintain quality patient care standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor conditions
• Coordinate care plans with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Manage critical incidents and trauma situations
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
• Facilitate patient and family education
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 3 years RN experience (ICU or Psychiatric experience considered)
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS certification (or obtainable within 12 months)
• CPI certification (obtainable within 6 months)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trauma care experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Emergency Nursing Certification (CEN)
