Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from conceptual design through construction administration.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and transform ideas into innovative design solutions.

• Prepare comprehensive architectural drawings, specifications, and permit documents.

• Ensure compliance with Florida Building Code, zoning laws, and ADA/accessibility standards.

• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure project success.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve field issues.

• Specify building materials and finishes aligned with budget, design intent, and sustainability goals.

• Present design proposals and updates to clients and project stakeholders.

• Mentor junior architects and contribute to a supportive, knowledge-sharing culture.

• Assist in business development and building long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect in Florida (active and in good standing).

• 5+ years of architectural experience, ideally in residential and commercial design.

• NAAB-accredited Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture.

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Chief Architect, and rendering tools.

• Strong understanding of Florida-specific codes and permitting processes.
