Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Emergency Department | Leadership Role

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all emergency department functions during designated shifts
• Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to nursing staff
• Implement and maintain quality patient care standards
• Monitor and evaluate patient care delivery systems
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage patient flow and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
• Facilitate patient and family education throughout care continuum

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Tennessee or compact state
• Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• 3+ years of RN experience (ICU or Psychiatric experience considered)
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS certification (required within first year)
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification (within 6 months)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Trauma care experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience
• Leadership or management experience
