Senior Clinical Care Coordinator - Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Telemetry)

Position Overview:

In this pivotal leadership role, you'll oversee our specialized PCU caring for complex cardiac and neurological patients, managing critical care transitions, and coordinating advanced treatment protocols. Our unit specializes in cardiac monitoring, stroke care, and managing patients requiring specialized infusion therapies.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Oversee clinical operations and patient flow in a 25-bed Progressive Care Unit
• Manage complex care protocols including cardiac drips, BiPAP therapy, and stroke care
• Provide clinical mentorship and educational support to nursing staff
• Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes
• Collaborate with leadership to implement quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license with BSN degree
• Minimum 3 years Progressive Care or Telemetry nursing experience
• Proven Charge Nurse experience required
• Current BCLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
• ACLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
• NIHSS Stroke Certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
