Lead Trauma Care Excellence in a Dynamic Clinical Setting

Are you a trauma-savvy Registered Nurse ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? Medical Center in Manchester, NH, is seeking a Registered Nurse Manager Trauma Program to oversee and advance the trauma care system within our facility. This high-impact role plays a key part in developing, coordinating, and evaluating a comprehensive trauma care programsupporting our mission to deliver exceptional, life-saving care to our community.

Key Responsibilities

As RN Manager of the Trauma Program, you will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a cost-effective trauma care system throughout the care continuum for trauma patients and their families.

  • Serve as a liaison with EMS providers, Fire and Police Departments, and Ambulance Services.

  • Build collaborative relationships with the EMS Medical Director, NH State trauma authorities, and participate in statewide committees.

  • Create and revise trauma policies based on state directives and best clinical practices.

  • Work closely with the Trauma Medical Director to coordinate all trauma care activities at Catholic Medical Center.

  • Lead ongoing performance monitoring and quality improvement, including concurrent review of trauma records and maintenance of the trauma registry.

  • Oversee preparation for state and ACS trauma designation site visits.

  • Respond to trauma team activations during working hours, guiding teams and ensuring clinical excellence.

  • Support ED Physician Director on resource hospital initiatives.

  • Maintain, oversee, and ensure compliance with the NH TEMSIS computerized Patient Care Reporting system.

  • Stay updated on trauma care through continued education, certifications, and conference attendance.

Qualifications

Education & Licensure

  • RN license in the State of New Hampshire (required)

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (required)

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience in trauma care within an acute care setting (required)

Certifications

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (required)

  • CEN certification (preferred)
