NICU Nurse Manager - Level III NICU | Leadership Opportunity

Position Overview

As NICU Nurse Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for our NICU department, ensuring excellence in patient care while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of NICU nursing professionals, promoting clinical excellence and professional development
  • Partner with the Director to align department initiatives with facility's strategic goals and objectives
  • Drive continuous quality improvement through performance monitoring and implementation of evidence-based practices
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
  • Oversee patient care delivery, staffing, and resource management
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration within Women's Services Units
  • Support clinical education and competency development for nursing staff

Required Qualifications

  • Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact License (Texas license required within 60 days)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Minimum 2 years recent NICU leadership experience as Manager or Charge Nurse
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Strong clinical expertise in neonatal intensive care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
